You dream it, we build it — a one-off house from the ground up
A new house is where your brief actually becomes a building, so most of the value is created in the months before anyone lays a brick. We would rather be in the room while the drawings are still changeable — the cost of moving a wall on paper is nothing; the cost of moving it after the slab is poured is a fortnight and a bad conversation.
Once on site, the sequence matters more than anything else. Groundworks, structure, envelope, watertight, services, finishes — in that order, with the awkward parts flagged early rather than discovered halfway.
Groundworks and structure
Site clearance and setting out, foundations designed with your engineer, drainage and service ducts laid before the slab, then the superstructure — masonry, steel or timber frame depending on what the design calls for.
Envelope and watertight
Roof structure and covering, external walls, insulation and membranes detailed properly at the junctions, and glazing in early. Getting a new build watertight quickly is what protects every pound spent after it.
Services and specialist trades
Electrics, plumbing, heating, ventilation and any renewables, plus the specialist trades a one-off house tends to want — bespoke glazing, joinery, resin or stone floors, feature staircases. We coordinate them so you do not have to.
Hand-over and the paperwork
Building control inspections throughout, certificates collected from each registered trade, a snag list walked with you, and a hand-over conversation covering how the heating, ventilation and controls in your new house are meant to run.
